Editorial Policy

The Uganda Odds Editorial Team maintains this policy. Our goal is to make each material claim traceable, dated and appropriately qualified. We distinguish between facts verified from primary sources, observations from a live interface and statements we have not independently tested.

Licence-to-wallet protocol

The central Uganda record connects NLGRB company, trade name, website and licence to the exact campaign destination. A payment claim then requires the same account’s country, UGX currency, wallet holder, deposit prompt, withdrawal route and support reference. If any link is missing, the page states the gap instead of borrowing a result from Ghana, Somalia or another Uganda account.

MTN MoMo and Airtel Money receive separate evidence labels for «advertised», «seen in cashier» and «tested». A wallet logo cannot be copied into an operator comparison as proof of withdrawal support.

Evidence hierarchy

1. Uganda legislation, NLGRB publications and Uganda Revenue Authority guidance.
2. A regulator-hosted licence certificate or register entry for the exact entity and domain.
3. Current operator terms, bonus rules, KYC policy and cashier information.
4. A documented product test with date, country, device and payment method.
5. Reputable independent reporting.
6. Operator marketing and third-party review claims.

When sources conflict, the stronger and more specific source wins. A current regulator register outranks an operator badge; account-specific cashier terms outrank a generic landing page.

What “verified” means

“Verified” means we checked the cited source on the date shown. It does not mean a bonus, limit or payment route will remain available. “Tested” is used only when a documented test actually occurred. We do not describe an estimated payout time as a guaranteed withdrawal time.

Bonuses and payment limits

Bonus percentages, caps, minimum deposits, wagering requirements and eligible payment methods can vary by country, currency, campaign and account. A page should cite the destination and official rules checked on its recorded review date. If an Uganda-specific figure cannot be confirmed without a logged-in cashier, we tell the reader to check the exact value before depositing.

Licences

We name the legal entity, regulator and licence number only when an official source supports them. A Curaçao licence is not described as an NLGRB licence. An operator is not labelled Uganda-licensed unless it appears on the current public NLGRB list under a matching entity or brand.

Recommendations and commercial funding

Recommendations consider evidence quality, legal clarity, payments, KYC and withdrawal terms, product usability, support and responsible-gambling controls. Our commercial priorities are 1xBet and BetWinner; Melbet and Linebet also remain approved affiliate destinations. This preference can affect selection, ordering and calls to action. It cannot establish a factual licence or payment claim, and it is not a claim that these operators won an independent comparative test. Review and corrections

Send corrections to hello (at) ugandaodds.com, replacing “(at)” with @. Include the page URL, disputed statement, observation date and a primary-source link or redacted evidence.

1. The editorial team compares the report with the cited record, date and exact operator/domain/account scope.
2. Where a material error is supported, update the affected wording, source and relevant language counterpart. A claim without sufficient evidence should be narrowed or removed.
3. Record the material correction on the affected page and change its update date. A copy edit does not renew the evidence-check date.
4. Keep historical snapshots dated; publish a new version when the underlying evidence changes.
